When your workforce doubles overnight, you need more than a whiteboard.
At Libeert, the fourth-generation Belgian chocolatier in Komen, the workforce nearly doubles every Easter and Sinterklaas — 90 permanent staff plus roughly 130 seasonal and temp workers. For decades, the planning was a physical magnet board in the production hall. Every day around midday, a shift lead photographed the board, and HR started calling temps and the in-house staffing partner to plug the gaps. “There was always stress around that moment,” says HR-director Désirée Libeert. “If someone didn’t pick up, we had an immediate risk of a shortage.” With bookU, shift leads now plan digitally, workers get their schedule by email, the AGO staffing partner is connected directly to open needs, and the workflow integrates with ProTime for time registration. The board is gone. The stress went with it.
