The future of workforce management: digital or human?

Event details

About this session

The labour market has stopped being predictable. Demand fluctuates week to week, margins are under pressure, and operational needs shift faster than any planning cycle can follow. AI is opening up real possibilities here, but it also creates a trap. Optimise for efficiency alone and you forget that staffing is more than a process. For most flexible workers, it is the very first touchpoint of the employee experience.

On 6 October, bookU CEO Dieter Vanthournout and Accent CCO Lien Byttebier take the stage at the e-Recruitment Congress in Amsterdam to argue that speed and human contact are not opposites. Their masterclass walks through the staffing process step by step — from shift intake to master-vendor distribution — and shows where automation buys back the time that human contact needs.

Whats's more on the programme of E-recruitment congress

Who should attend

The congress is built for people who run staffing and recruitment operations: agency directors, operations and planning leads, HR managers, and the technology decision-makers around them. The audience is Belgian and Dutch, weighted towards high-volume blue-collar staffing.

If you are running high-volume planning across multiple client sites — food, retail, logistics, cleaning, production — the bookU session will be the most directly useful half hour of your day.

Tickets

Registration runs through the congress. bookU has a limited number of tickets available for customers and partners. Interested in joining us in Amsterdam? Send a message to marketing@booku.eu and we'll arrange it.
