Yes. Time & Registration is a standalone module. You can run the Timer app and the Portal without using bookU’s Planning & Scheduling. The time data flows to your social secretariat the same way. If you later add planning, the two modules compound (the Portal can then validate clocked hours against planned shifts) but you don’t need both to start.
Android tablets, iPads, Android phones, iPhones, and dedicated kiosks. Install it once on whatever hardware fits your front-line: a tablet at the entrance for retail, a kiosk on the production floor, employee phones for distributed teams. No special equipment, no proprietary device. If it runs Android or iOS, it runs the Timer.
